In 1910, Milward Valentine Anderson Sr. arrived in Alberta after completing his Sanitary Engineering Degree from Heriot Watt College in Edinburgh. He began his career managing the Crescent Heights office of Burnett & Weir—a company that, at the time, operated dozens of locations across Southern Alberta.
When ownership shifted, the Anderson name remained. The company was carried forward by Milward Sr., then by the next generation, and eventually by the family members who continue to guide Anderson to this day. Through multiple eras, industry changes, and a growing city, one thing never changed: the belief that quality work and good character matter.
What began with horse-and-wagon service routes has evolved into a modern home-comfort provider—but the heart of the business remains the same.
